Petrolmeet is an app for car owners in the UAE to find owners of the same car and meet up. It is run by Andrey Busargin, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Contact: busarginy@gmail.com.
We collect only what the app needs to work. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.
What we collect and why

| Approximate area (only if you turn on "Call me") | So owners nearby can invite you. It is stored rounded to about 1 km and is never shown to anyone; other users only see how many people an invite reaches. |
| Current location (when the app is open) | To show meets near you and to set the meeting point of a meet you create. The meeting point of a meet is visible to signed-in users. |
| Meets you create or join, and chat messages | To run the meet. Messages are visible to the meet's creator and attendees. |

We do not track you in the background and we do not collect your contacts.
What other people can see
- Signed-in users see your profile, your cars and their photos, and the meets you join.
- Anyone with a link to a meet (petrolmeet.com/e/...) sees its title, time, place name, which cars it is for and which cars are going. Names, profiles, photos, exact coordinates and chat are not shown there.
Who processes your data
- Supabase: database, sign-in and photo storage, hosted in Mumbai, India.
- Expo: delivers push notifications to Apple and Google.
- Resend: sends sign-in code emails.
- Hetzner: hosts this website, in Finland.
They process data only to provide these services to us.
How long we keep it
As long as you have an account. Meets and their messages stay until the account that created them is deleted.
Deleting your data
Open the app, go to Garage and tap Delete account. This permanently deletes your profile, cars, photos, the meets you created, your attendance and your messages. You can also ask us by email and we will delete it within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it, by writing to busarginy@gmail.com. We follow the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).
Age
Petrolmeet is for people aged 18 and over.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
